ABOUT US

At Westfield Primary School we have an active and enthusiastic Parent Teacher Association (PTA). The PTA aims to support the school and to help provide a wider and richer experience for the pupils.

The objectives of the PTA are to organise events and activities that raise funds for equipment and projects in school, social events for the enjoyment of the pupils, their families and the wider community and to represent the children’s interests in community matters.

PTA contributions are a valuable supplement to existing school funds. Every year, the school assesses its equipment and requirements and teachers compile a “wish list” of what would be most valuable.~
It is always helpful to hear your new ideas about what you think will work as fundraising events. If you have any, please let us know by handing a note in to the School Office and labelling it “PTA”. We are very grateful to everyone who has got in touch with an idea. Sometimes it is not possible, either time-wise, logistically or financially to run them all, but we would like to thank everybody for their suggestions. Please don’t stop coming forward!
Our Sponsors and Supporters

Volunteers

The PTA is reliant on a large number of volunteers to help out at events throughout the year and we are constantly looking for new members (when positions are vacant) and helpers in this respect. If you are already a willing helper and would like to become more involved, you could think about joining the PTA Committee in the future. Please contact us via the office or the form below. We keep names on file and contact people from time to time prior to main events, such as the Christmas Fair. On behalf of the PTA, we would like to thank all of you who have generously given your time and financial support over the past year.
